CALL BACKS for our spring musical THE ADDAMS FAMILY are 2pm to 4pm afterschool in AR205 (Drama classroom).

The 2019 RED and WHITE CAVALCADE Talent Show still needs a wide variety of dance, song, instrumental, martial arts, drama, etc. Join the fun!  If you would like to participate, please see Mr. Castle or Ms. Deamer for details.

Hey SR! Dance tickets for our SNOW BALL WINTER FORMAL are on sale NOW! Buy your tickets at lunch in the student store. Don’t forget to request a song when you buy a ticket.

This week ASB will be holding a fundraiser for the fire victims of Paradise, CA. There will be donation boxes in all advisories.

Attention CALIFORNIA SCHOLARSHIP FEDERATION members and potential new members: CSF is one of the oldest Honor Societies at the high school level and our Spring semester enrollment is beginning. Please join us for an informational meeting Thursday, January 24th during lunch in LA 210 regarding the application, requirements, and deadlines. There is enrollment each semester and all are welcome to attend to get more information to see if they qualify. Don't miss a chance to be a part of CSF a tradition at San Rafael High School since 1924!

The SENIOR PANORAMA PICTURE will take place during the Senior advisory on Tuesday, January 29th. Order forms were distributed in your advisory class and are due before January 28th to Ms. Rodriguez in the Principal’s Office. 

ART CONTEST for new ceramic smocks! We need a logo that incorporates a bulldog and ceramics. Contest will run until January 30th. Turn in to art teachers. Gift card prize!

ATTENTION WORLD TRAVELERS: Go Dawg Go's trip to Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam in February of 2020 is now open for enrollment! Join us on this adventure of a lifetime! See Madame Truett in room AD300 for more details.  

TUTORING

NEED A QUIET PLACE to get your HW done or study for your upcoming test? The Library is now open until 5pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays! All students are welcome to stay and quietly work on their homework!

ONE-ON-ONE PEER Tutoring is available during advisory and your free periods.

MATH teachers available before school and after school, Monday through Thursday in the library.

SCIENCE TUTORING available in the Library after school on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for one hour! Come see Ms. Paiz for help with any and all science subjects!

ENGLISH TUTORING - Mr. Bond and Ms. Hager offer reading room and homework tutorial in LA303 and LA304 Monday through Thursday for one hour, immediately after the bell.

FRENCH and SPANISH tutoring is available daily from 7 – 7:45 am in AD 315.

COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER

College of Marin will be hosting an ethnics studies course: History of Latinos in the US. If you are interested, see Ms. Mazariegos in the CCC. For those of you students who have already enrolled, a reminder that the course begins on Tuesday, January 22nd in AD 312 at 3:35 pm. 

SENIORS, now that most of college applications deadlines have passed, please make sure to stop by the CCC to learn more about scholarships or simply check out the scholarship bulletin outside the CCC. If you haven't already done so, activate your portals from the schools that you have applied to. If you have any questions, please stop by to see Ms. Mazariegos. 

10,000 DEGREES is non-profit college access program. To be eligible, students must be a current junior and demonstrate financial need. Applications are now available online.

College of Marin will be having an informational session on TODAY during lunch in LA 213. Seniors please stop by to learn more. 

Juniors, 10,000 Degrees will be having an informational session on Tuesday, January 22nd in the CCC during lunch. Stop by to learn more about the program. Lunch will be provided.

CA Youth Decoy Program will have an information table in the quad on Thursday, January 24th during lunch! Stop by for more information. 

College of Marin will be having an "open lab" on Friday, January 25th during lunch in LA 213 for students who have not already applied. Take advantage of this opportunity. 

Interested in learning or pursuing a career/certificate in the health care field? On Thursday, January 31st, during advisory, there will be a presentation brought to you by Santa Rosa Junior College. Stop by the CCC to sign up in advance. Space is limited! 

Teen Environmental Leadership Program (TEEM) is a paid year-long environmental education and leadership and mentorship program for high school students. No experience is necessary and transportation in provided. Applications are due March 31st. There will be an information table in the quad on Thursday, January 31st. Stop by to learn more about this program and their application process.
