The Art Boosters mission is to foster the growth, exposure and community interface of the visual arts at San Rafael High; including photography, ceramics, design and construction, sculpture, drawing, painting and multi-media expressions.

Youth Poster Contest

We are proud to announce that four San Rafael High School art students — Amelie Benicio, Lily Gates, Ella Mullins, and Fatima Ayala — were finalists in the 2019 Youth Poster Contest

Youth in Arts Awards Best in Show to Amelie Benecio

Amelia Benecio took Best in Show for her for her charcoal drawing of “Wild Eyes,” a character from the Netflix TV series, “Orange is the New Black.”  Youth in Arts, an art education provider, hosts the 28th annual 2019 “Rising Stars” exhibition. The show, at the YIA Gallery, 917 C St., San Rafael, runs through March 29.  More info at the IJ link.  

Twelve students from SRHS were chosen to showcase their artwork at the 28th annual Youth in Arts “Rising Stars” high school art show:

Joselin Diaz-Padilla, Dulce Santay, Daren O'Hagan, Guillermo Cardenas, Ruby Burciaga, VeronecaMiller, Jonathan Kfouri, Amelie Benicio, Phoebe Johnson, Kelly Abey, Lily Gates, and Ella Mullins.
