Senior Success Advisories 19/20

Workshops for students

For advisory workshops students must sign up in the CCC to obtain a pass from Ms. Cifuentes. For lunch workshops signing up is not required but encouraged to obtain a pass as a reminder.

 

Wednesday, Oct. 9: Applying to Nursing Schools presentation during advisory 9:55am Room AD312

 

Friday Oct. 11: Financial Aid and Scholarships presentation by Ms. Mazariegos

 

Tuesday, Nov. 5: SSU EOP Presention (Educational opportunity Program) during lunch 11:30am.

A representative from SSU EOP will come to SRHS to speak about EOP in general and about SSU specific application deadlines for the program. EOP is a program that all CSU's offer for low income first generation students.

 

Wednesday Nov. 13: Interview/ email communications presentation etiquette from 10,000 Degrees

Financial Aid Week 19/20

This year's Financial Aid week will be taking place on Oct. 22- 25

 

TuesdayOct. 22- Senior parent night 6-8pm - Learn about the importance of financial aid

         ( English presentation in the library)

 

Wednesday, Oct. 23- Senior advisory rally

 

Thursday and Friday Oct. 24 & 25 - We will be going into Econ & Gov classes to help students sign up for FAFSA or CA Dream Act

Martes 22 de octubre - Noche de padres de seniors 6-8pm - aprende sobre la importancia de  ayuda financiera

Jueves y Viernes 24 & 25 - Estaremos en las clases de Gov. y Econ. para ayudarle a los estudiantes a applicar por ayuda financiera (FAFSA or Cal Dream Act - lo cual no es lo mismo que DACA)

WORK PERMIT INTENT TO EMPLOY

Work Permit Application

Pick up an application in the CCC- once it is complete, please return it in a timely manner. Please allow Ms. Cifuentes 2-3 days to process. Students must have a minimum 2.0 GPA to be eligible to work, with no current D's or F's.
