CSF - Applications for California Scholarship Federation open this week. Please attend the informational meeting regarding membership and requirements on TODAY @ lunch in LA 210. Freshmen this is the first semester you are eligible to apply and Seniors you must attend to review your requirements and for graduation. More information can be found on the CSF's webpage on the school website or email Mrs. Ayoob.

BOYS TENNIS open court will be on Mondays and Wednesdays at 3:30pm. All levels welcome.

The SRHS Planner Club’s next meeting is on Tuesday, January 28th to organize your planner and map our projects, homework and schedules. All are welcome to join us in LA 210 during lunch!

Buy your YEARBOOK before January 20th because the prices go from $70 to $80. You can order your yearbook on the school website or from the student store.

SENIORS, remember to submit your senior quotes for the Yearbook.  We also need Dogs with Dawgs and sibling pictures. You can bring them to the main office.

Students interested in taking a College of Marin Course here at San Rafael High School after school two times a week please come see Ms. Cifuentes in the CCC ASAP.

INTERNSHIP NEWS: Students would you like to explore a career path for elective credits. Stop by the CCC and talk to Mr. Diaz about potential internship placements. The Spring internship cycle will run February 10th through April 3rd. Requirements include 48 hours at your internship! Deadline to apply by January 17th! For questions or more information, talk to Mr. Diaz in the College and Career Center.

NEED A PLACE TO WORK OUT FOR FREE? The weight room is open Monday through Thursday for 1 hour after school for all SR students!! You do not have to be an athlete to attend. Space is limited to the first 45 students to arrive. Please wear appropriate workout attire! 

TRANSIT STICKERS – are available in the main office during Brunch and Lunch only.

ALL STUDENTS must present their valid School ID when attending an SRHS Event.

TUTORING

MATH TUTORING and Homework Help, Monday and Thursday – before school in AD301, 7 to 7:45am and after school in LA101 for 1 hour.

SCIENCE TUTORING is available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday after school in Ms. Paiz's classroom, SC106.  Any and all science questions welcome!

ENGLISH TUTORING after school, Monday to Thursday. Come in for help on essays, grammar, and/or reading. Or just come in for a quiet place to do any of your homework. Rooms LA 303 and LA 304 with Mr. Bond and Ms. Hager.

FRENCH AND SPANISH TUTORING – all levels - Every B day before school, 7:15-7:45am and after school for 30 mins, 2:45-3:15pm in AD 315 with Mme/Sra Likover.

SOCIAL STUDIES welcomes before and after school tutoring by appointment with teacher/s.

COLLEGE AND CAREER

SENIORS - The counseling department would like to remind you to please link your counselor as a recommender to either your Coalition or Common App as soon as possible. Linking your counselor will allow your counselor to view deadlines and submit forms. If you link your counselor last-minute, you run the risk of your counselor submitting forms past admission deadlines for some Universities. Thank you.

JUNIORS: 10,000 Degrees is now accepting applications for summer intensive: This is a FREE year-round support starting with workshops in spring of junior year and continuing through college, including help with the college application process, financial aid, and scholarships.

The 10,000 Degrees Summer Intensive is a *FREE* overnight stay at a Bay Area College Campus where students will attend fun and informative college knowledge workshops, learn about campus resources, and make new friends through interactive group actives. DEADLINE IS February 15th. Students can apply online through our Website .
